Having gone through the hospital fiasco with Rickey, I can almost "see" exactly how things were going. Good for you. Let me think about my distribution list. I know many people who have dealt with doctor and hospital screw ups and how unfeeling they seem to be about how traumatic the outcome is for the individual and their families. I hope you get this out to a lot of folks. Not only for people who have been thru it and can relate, but also as a warning to others to not always just accept what doctors are telling you. Dear Jim, Your book arrived yesterday, and I finsished reading it this afternoon. It is truly an extraordinary work. It is a book to be proud of. The volume is one of a kind, one that could have only been written by you. It epresses "signature" and "voice", terms often used in the literary world to assign "individualism" to the author and to no other person but that author. Writing any book-length work borders on the miraculous, and how you managed to create this one is truly miraculous. And you credit God and your wife and family for all they did.
